To reach this central hub from elsewhere in Malta, the island's efficient TD (Tallinja Direct) and standard public bus network offers frequent, direct routes from Valletta, Sliema, and Bugibba, dropping passengers off at the main bus terminus right between the two neighborhoods. Taxis, Bolt, and eCabs ride-sharing services are also readily available for quick, direct travel. If you choose to rent a car, avoid driving deep into Rabat's tight alleys; instead, utilize the large, designated public parking lots located just outside Mdina’s main gate, which serve as the perfect starting point for your walking tour.
